See our <a href=\"\/?page_id=61\">learn to row<\/a> page for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading cls-clear-off\">What does it cost to be a member of our club?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our membership fees are made up of two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Annual membership fee, which is paid in full when you join the club, and each September for existing members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For rowing members, an additional monthly subscription fee is due, which is collected by direct debit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The current fees for 2025-26 are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><thead><tr><th>Type<\/th><th>Membership eligibility<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Annual membership fee<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Monthly subscription fee<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Junior (rowing)<\/td><td>Full rowing membership for individuals who are eligible to row at BR Junior Level. Includes single named parent membership.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 36.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 14.00<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Adult (rowing)<\/td><td>Full rowing membership for individuals over the age of 18 years.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 36.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 18.00<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Student (rowing)<\/td><td>Full rowing membership for individuals over the age of 18 years who are in full time education.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 36.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 4.50<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Family (rowing)<\/td><td>Up to two adults plus any full-time students or juniors, living at the same address.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 72.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 32.00<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Coach \/ club officer (non-rowing)<\/td><td>Non-rowing membership for any coach or club officer who acts voluntarily to support the club.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 36.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">&#8211;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Active volunteer (non-rowing)<\/td><td>Non-rowing\/participation membership for any individual who committee approve in a non-committee voluntary position to support the aims and objectives of the club.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 36.00<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">&#8211;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Racking fee<\/td><td>One boat per rowing member (junior or adult) up to two per family membership<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">&#8211;<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">\u00a3 6.25 per seat<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The club requires all members to join British Rowing This provides two essential benefits &#8211; specialist rowing personal insurance and, depending on the membership taken, ability to compete in British Rowing affiliated events across England and Wales. See <a title=\"British Rowing Membership Types\" href=\"http:\/\/www.britishrowing.org\/membership\/types\">British Rowing Membership Types<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Link to the membership forms can be found at the top of this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regatta fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Regatta fees vary between \u00a35 per seat to \u00a314 per seat based upon junior \/ senior age groups and the individual regatta organisers costs. Smaller clubs typically charge less than larger clubs and national events cost more than local events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trailerage fee of \u00a35 per person competing is also charged for Northern Region events. Charges for other events will be made available once you have joined the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also a \u00a320 refundable deposit that must be paid by every member who wants to compete in regattas.
