New WADA Prohibited List from January 2017

Note from regional rowing council

The new World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list will come into effect on the 1st January 2017.

British Rowing has adopted the UK Anti Doping Agency (UKAD) anti doping rules, so it’s the responsibility of everyone in the sport, especially athletes and coaches to ensure they are up to date with what is on the list and to ensure we keep the sport clean. Keeping the sport clean is something which happens at all levels, from club rowers through to our Olympic and Paralympic athletes, so it’s worth all club coaches, athletes and volunteers being aware of.

The UKAD website link gives you the information on what substances and medications are on the prohibited list from January 2017 and information how you can easily find the information on what you are allowed to use.
