Dear all,
The session for the boys on the ergo will be 3 x 2k rate 24,26,28. The programme for March will appear on the Facebook pages in the following days. There will also be a physio at the session tonight, so if anyone has any niggles, form an orderly queue.
The club are looking for volunteers to train as umpires to keep the region’s events running. Each club should provide at least two parents/members who volunteer their time, usually when events are running on weekends, to help the main organisation. Standing on a river bank and looking official are the only prerequisites and you don’t really need to know that much about competitions until you become trained. If anyone is interested or wants more information, please see the link below and email me too if possible.
Our events coordinator has been busy organising some social activities in an effort to raise funds for the club and allow our growing membership to get to know each other. A list of events is below with dates and times etc, please see Kay Hall (email address CC’D above) if you want tickets or simply put these dates in your diary:
- The ‘Rod Stewart’ Barbeque on the 9th June
- The Annual Presentation Night on Friday 8th September at The Chilton Moor.
Congratulations to the Explore Rowing Series Crew from CLS who finished second in their event on Sunday at Hexham. And good luck to all of our athletes who are taking part in the Regional Indoor Finals today at Maiden Castle.
Thanks,
Steven
