The session at the Hermitage tonight will be a 5k test piece for the boys as well as circuits and spinning.
As this is the first week of School, it seems that everyone has returned in force and with enthusiasm from their summer holidays, hence we have had some excellent sessions this week. As the sessions will be changing slightly over the next few weeks as the light runs away, the coaching team are looking to finalise the winter training schedule as well as the regatta calendar for this season.
The club hosts its first Autumn Regatta aimed at juniors up to j14 and we need your help to organise and run the day as effectively as we did our Summer regatta. Saturday 23rd September will see many clubs from the region bring its youngsters to race over 300m and we would appreciate your help so please sign up for the job sheet which will appear in the boathouse this week or email Brian or Kay to help with various things.
I hope you will also join me in congratulating everyone who helped make the presentation evening a success and if you see, Kay Hall, Bob Young, Wayne Curry, Lynn Warren and Lee Forster, please pass a well done on as their help and others was paramount to the success of the event.
